In  the occasion of Qatar National Sport day, the Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Coordination with the embassy of the state of Qatar,  and under the patronage of the Consul General T.H. Rashid Al Dehaimi, has celebrated this day by organizing several sports activities, at one of the local stadiums in the city, where Qatari citizen (adult and kids) along with the staff of the Consulate have participated and enjoyed the event.

T.H. Rashid Al Dehaimi also attended the National Sport Day event that was a soccer clinic put on by the Houston Major League Soccer team, the Dynamo, for Boys & Girls Club members with Qatar’s support on Tuesday February 11, 2020.

Also, on Tuesday February 11, 2020 the Vice Consul Khaled Al Sulaiti attended a similar event in Orlando, Florida organized by the Boys & Girls Club and Orlando City Soccer Club team with Qatar’s support.

The children have been introduced to football and the 2022 World Cup, which will be held in Doha.
